Chief Terrence Green would like to invite our Town of Lexington neighbors to National Night Out on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship at the Icehouse Amphitheater and Pavilion at 107 West Main Street in Lexington.

National Night Out will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m., and this is an opportunity to connect with your local law enforcement, first responders, talk about crime prevention, enjoy food from various restaurants, as well as have a great time with your family and friends during this free event.

The planned entertainment for the evening includes Go Go Laser Tag, Emerald’s Artistry Entertainment face painting, Palmetto Amusement rides, Looney Balloony, inflatables, a photo booth by TapSnap 1216 with Serve & Connect, Call My DJ with the music, and more.

We are excited to announce that Budget Blinds, Founders Federal Credit Union, Legacy Martial Arts, and State Credit Union are supporting the event as title sponsors, along with a growing list of businesses, restaurants, and organizations.  These partnerships with the Lexington Police Department are working together to make this event great.

If attending National Night Out, please find parking in public parking lots near the event as those who park in private business parking lots take the risk of being towed from the property at the owner’s expense.

There are still a limited number of sponsorship opportunities available.  Please contact Officer Jose Cardona at 803-359-6022 or jcardona@lexsc.com. Online registration for sponsors can be found on our website.  Sponsorship donations are made to the Lexington Police Department Foundation to cover the various expenses of organizing the National Night Out event.

The Lexington Police Department Foundation, a 501(c)(3) foundation, furthers the work of our officers, department, and community-focused programs.  The ongoing support from event sponsors, community partners, and the Town of Lexington community is greatly appreciated.

Follow the Lexington Police Department on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates and announcements.
