What another great year of the Spring Lexington Live Concert Series! Turnout was great each week and it is such a good way to spend time with the family each Thursday night. The next free concert series will be this Fall.
The Market at Icehouse Amphitheater is back in season! It is Downtown Lexington's version of a farmer's market. The Market features live music, food trucks and local vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, woodwork, jewelry, pottery and more. It is each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and runs through the end of September, with the exception of July 1.
This is the third year The Market is being held under the Icehouse Amphitheater Pavilion. The Pavilion is located at 107 West Main Street and it is an open-air building situated perfectly in the heart of Downtown.
The Market was once called the Lexington Farmer's Market and it has been happening since 2011 at a variety of locations on Main Street. Back in 2014, it was moved to Lexington Square. Then in 2019, it was moved to the Icehouse Amphitheater where it would find its permanent home in 2021 with the completion of the Pavilion.
This year there will be more variety than ever before so you'll want to come out each week to see what there is to offer. If you'd like to see which vendors will be there ahead of time, check out the events tab on the Town of Lexington's Facebook page.
