Later this month The Market at Icehouse Amphitheater will start its season! It is Lexington's version of a farmer's market and is held each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. It starts May 20 and runs through the end of September (with the exception of July 1). Come out and enjoy live music and food trucks while you shop for fresh produce, baked goods, woodwork, jewelry, pottery and more.
This will be the third year that The Market is held in the Icehouse Amphitheater Pavilion, which is located at 107 W. Main Street. The Pavilion is an open-air building that is located in the heart of Downtown.
Our Lexington Live Spring Concert Series, presented by Lexington Medical Center, also continues this month. These free concerts are held each Thursday night through the end of May from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Icehouse Amphitheater. In addition to live music that the whole family will enjoy, there are also food trucks and beer and wine available to purchase.
The 12th Annual Lexington Wine Walk is on Saturday, May 13 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 the week of and then $45 the day of the event. There will be live music from the band Going Commando and a souvenir glass and unlimited wine samples are included in the ticket price. There will be food trucks and beer available for purchase.

Also, a reminder to get out and vote in the Special Election on Tuesday, May 2 to fill an open seat on Town Council. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Be sure to check your precinct location beforehand because some have been combined for this election.
