The "Be A Designated Driver, A Friend For Life" program was started in 2014 to promote the use of a designated driver who is ready to take the wheel and give friends and family a sober ride home. This program involves participation from all restaurants and bars in the Town of Lexington and any designated driver who is wearing the blue silicone band receives non-alcoholic beverages while out.
