Todd Carnes

Town Council Member

Todd moved to Lexington in 2000 from Ufa, Russia where he and his family served as missionaries for several years during the 1990’s.  Prior to that, Todd earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and worked in roadway and community development and planning as both an Engineer and as a Commercial Developer.  He subsequently received his Master’s Degree in Biblical Languages from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  In the realm of business, Todd served as the General Manager for SouthernMED Pediatrics and currently owns a local real estate brokerage, Todd Realty Partners, located in downtown Lexington.

As a member of the Lexington community, Todd has been involved in a wide variety of activities.  He served as a volunteer Chaplain for the Lexington Police Department for four years while launching Radius Church in Lexington.  Todd’s entire career has been centered around helping others, building relationships, and listening to issues in order to develop a plan for a positive solution.     

Todd is married to Kerri, who shares his passion for the citizens in the Town of Lexington and surrounding communities.  She was a teacher and volleyball coach at Lexington High School and currently works for Todd Realty Partners.  Todd and Kerri have three daughters, Laina, Amanda and Kristy and a fine new son-in-law, Blake, who is also a University of Alabama graduate (Roll Tide!).
