Town Parks
The Town of Lexington Parks Department maintains the eight town-owned parks. As of Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Virginia Hylton Park will be closed as it undergoes a renovation and expansion. Please consider visiting one of the other seven parks located within the Town.
Contact the Parks Department (803-359-1027) for information about the parks or to inquire about reserving a picnic shelter at Gibson Pond Park.

Caractor Park is located at 804 Hendrix Street, behind the Lexington Medical Center.

Lexington Square Park, located at 205 East Main Street, is the newest quality of life addition to the Town of Lexington.

Fourteen Mile Creek Trail
Fourteen Mile Creek Trail is located off North Lake Dr. and Old Cherokee Rd. The trail is 3,500 feet long and will feature bridges, an educational kiosk, and an outdoor learning center. This is a perfect way to take in the fresh air and enjoy the natural beauty of Lexington.

The Town of Lexington Paw Park is a quality of life feature and the first dedicated to our 4-legged friends. The 3-acre park provides dogs and their owners a wonderful atmosphere to play, socialize and interact.
