Out-of-town Residential Water and/or Sewer Service

• You will need to complete a service application at our customer service window at Town Hall.
• The Town of Lexington provides service to non-residents conditioned upon agreement by the property owner to annex into the town limits if the property ever becomes contiguous (touches) the town limits. Therefore, in addition to the service application you will also need to complete an annexation agreement if you own the property for which you are requesting service. If you are renting, we must verify that a valid annexation agreement is on file with the town or we will need to arrange for the property owner to execute a valid agreement.
• A limited number of customers will have to complete certain other regulatory requirements for sewer service as directed by SC DHEC. These will be more fully explained to these customers when application is made.
• No deposit is required for out-of-town customers; however, you will be charged a non-refundable $20 application fee on your first billing.
