July 2016

The Town of Lexington is fortunate to have a wonderful quality of life, much to do with having one of the premiere Police Departments in the state.

Chief Green is committed to engaging the community and creating outreach to our citizens. One of the Department's signature events is National Night Out, which will take place August 2, 2016 from 5pm - 8pm at Lexington Square Park.

The Lexington Police Department will be serving a free hot dog dinner and there will be games, bounce houses and other activities at the event.

The focus of National Night Out is for our officers to connect with our neighborhoods and residents and continue in building partnerships with the community that we serve.

National Night Out is an annual community building campaign that promotes positive law enforcement and neighborhood relations, providing our officers the opportunity to connect with our residents and continue in building partnerships with the community that we serve.

We hope that you and your families join us on August 2nd for our annual National Night Out Festivities. This is a great time to meet and greet with our Police Department and to receive excellent safety tips that can be used by children and adults alike.
